Here is a Deathguard/Nurgle list that I'd like to get some feedback from.

First let me explain the purpose of the list:
I love the Nurgle fluff more than I love my Tyranids. They are really the biggest reason I got into Chaos. So I kept that in mind when making this list.
Secondly, I'm looking for semi-competitiveness. I don't mind losing, I just don't like losing all the time(who does? haha) I'm not the best at strategy, so I always look to friends and Dakka for help.
That being said, I'm open to any and all feedback. As long as I can stick with the fluff and try to stay somewhat a threat, I'll be happy.

Areas of concern:
Terminators will be escorting Typhus, gave them all Power Fists and Chain fists for heavy hitting CC. My hope is that they'll be able to shrug off a lot of the hits before they can actually strike. I don't know how well this will actually work though.
I'm not sure if I have enough scoring units. And I'm not sure if Rhinos and MSU are still effective.
I'm also not sure if I should go for a Heldrake or keep the Nurgle Bikers. I love the idea of T6 bikers storming across the table to make an early attack. But come on, how cool looking is the Heldrake?
I hope that Defilers will be more useful, being able to fire the Battle Cannon and other weapons while advancing. I love their models and it's something I'd love to keep in the army, but I'm open to suggestions.
Obliterators went up in cost, but I'm just assuming they are still highly effective.

I'm also 20 points under 2k, so a little wiggle room.

Overall strategy: Rush the bikes in and hopefully draw a lot of fire away from the LR/Rhinos. Hopefully get a few melta shots off
Rhinos to objectives.
Zombies to hold an easy objective.
LR and Terminators to take on opossing scoring units/anything giving me trouble.
Obliterators and Defilers for tank poppin.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. dakkadakka!

Yay Nurgle! I too enjoy their fluff, and that's the reason I'm collecting an army of my own. A couple of things for your list.

I think Typhus is a little points heavy. A Nurgle Lord would fill a similar role, and save you a good chunk of points. Instead of using the terminators as a platform to launch the Lord, mount him on a bike and put him in that Nurgle Biker squad with say a PF/LC combo, 4++, and maybe the Key if you can fit it.

The drop of the terminators lets you spend that chunk on what you really need, troops. With that, plus what you save on the Lord, you could easily pick up three more MSU Plague squads. However I would stick to four and use those points to fill them out a bit. Nurgle's chosen is 7 after all.

The cultists you can still do without Typhus, I think the ability to take MoN to make them T4 and in bigger numbers than a zombie squad (which at current maxes at 10) makes them more survivable. This is where you use the fill in for the rest of your points. Build what you like the rest of the list to be, and spend the extra trim buffing this out.

As far as Bikers vs. Helldrake, why not have both? Defilers went up in points, but went down in effectiveness, there are better heavy support options. The obliterators actually went down in points, but are no longer fearless and so need to be played with a little more reserve. However they can also take a MoN, so can get up to T5. I would drop the Defilers in exchange for a Helldrake and perhaps a shooty dreadnought (forget their new name) or a unit of Havocs. Flakk missles if you fear flyers, or autocannons for super cheap squad (only 115!). Use some spare points to give your Nurgle champs some Power Axes. Might as well hurt TEq with them, you're swinging at I3 anyway.

Haha, I never thought about the Chosen 7! I like that fluffy idea.... SO I SHALL USE IT!
The Biker Lord is also a genius idea.

I agree that Typhus is heavy, I just really like him. But hey, I don't own the model and anything I don't have to sink money into and save me a lot of points is OK with me.

I'd really rather not drop the Defilers for a Heldrake(I already own the Defilers from years ago is the biggest reason.)
I'll give them a few games and see how they go. If they displease Nurgle's will I'll switch for some Heldrakes.

I've never been a fan of Bikes... till T6 bikers. That just sounds so fun!
I'm wondering if I should clear up some points to upgrade them more? I feel like for 300 points for 10 T6 bikers is really nice though.

The second list is much better IMO. Looks solid.

I love the second list a lot. And I'm also a huge fan of t6 bikers with meltas. I just have a two of things to advise you on.
Firstly: I liked your beginning idea of having one squad for chopin' up tanks in cc.
Second: ten bikers with only two meltas seems like a bit of a waste.
This is what I would do to your list;

The strategy behind it is for the troops to go claim some objectives. While the three squads of bikers and the chosen go into the enemy heads down. With the chosen, the maul is there to help if you get caught in cc with infantry. Because of the unwieldy on the power fists, you'll be attacking last. With the power maul, as long as at least one attack hits, the concussive rule will come into effect causing the enemy models to hit at initiative 1 (they'll be attacking at the same time as the guys with power fists).
Why three squads of three bikers you ask? Because you can take more meltas and that means more tanks dead. ALSO, because that means the enemies fifty or so shots from there one squad of orks can only kill a max of three models instead of the old ten.
IMO anyway. Hope I helped

Ooooh, I hadn't thought about splitting the bikers into MSUs for more meltas. My biggest concern with that is the points cost! But still... meltas! haha. Thanks!

Any suggestions for a 750 version of this list?

I like the second list much more than the third list.

IMO (which may be lacking or out in left field), ALL CSM armies need 1 Drake and 1 unit of 5 x Spawn w/ MON.
Just try the MoN spawn x 5 (proxy if you have too) once and you will never go without again. Their entire purpose is to run down your opponents throat and kill/tie something up.

Whoa! This thread got necro'd! GJ Feasible!

Excellent suggestions though! Thanks all
I completely agree that the Drake is necessary, and I'll take your word on the Spawns/MON. I'll see how they work out.

The above list wasn't playing too strongly, but I didn't get to get many games in with it before moving across the country.
