I recently got a chance to flip through the new chaos space marines codex, and while examining the Plague marines page in the back, i found something questionable. The stat line read toughness five like always, but in the

description, mark of nurgle is no longer counted in the stat line. Which would mean that plague marines are now toughness 6, because they are 5 base+1 for the mark of nurgle which is not accounted for in the base profile

anymore. Am i missing something here? was it a typo, or am i to simply meant to ASSUME that GW meant they are toughness 5????

as for my gaming group, until we see an errata that changes this, we will be treating plague marines as toughness 6, as per the exact wording in the codex.

They no longer use the modified toughness in parenthesis anymore so bikes work the same way, you will notice that they just say toughness 5 and that is their actual toughness now.
