It is a pleasure to join you here at DakkaDakka. Please excuse me for posting in a forum upon joining before introducing myself as I was a little bit excited I guess. So, a little bit of history. I am a lifelong scale modeller from the age of about 6 or 7. My father introduced me to the hobby (as well as Chess, the ultimate wargame) and I never looked back. In 1970 I started wargaming with 2D board systems from Avalon Hill etc... and then got into WWII 1/72nd scale model wargaming shortly afterwards. My current main systems are Warhammer 40K and Battlefleet Gothic., but I will give anything a try and am currently building two Kings of War armies and a Warhammer Tomb Kings army. I still play many types of conflict based board games. Thanks for reading this!
