So, as I understand it from the HH:Betrayal book (don't have my copy yet), Horus can take Justaerin Terminators as Troops. Terminators being my favorite model in the game, and Cataphractii being my favorite released.. I figured there was no better army for me to build on a fun aspect. My brothers and I will be playing Legion rules, but we also want to play normal 6th ed. rules with friends of ours, so this was my idea for a Luna Wolves 6th.

No feedback? i have decided pretty well on the 2nd list. Main opponents are Nilla Marines, CSM, GK and Tau. and some other power armored goons in there like Templars and Dark Angels

I'd say your second list looks more competitive overall, but has some issues here and there that really had me scratching my head.

For all of the wargear that you gave your Wolf Lord, he's got no special CC weapon, and you took away an extra attack in CC by giving him a Storm Bolter. Wolf Lords are astoundingly good in close combat, but they need to be equipped to get the job done. I'm not even sure where he's supposed to go. There's no room for him in any of the Rhinos or the Land Raider.

You haven't taken enough WG in order to buy both an Assault Cannon AND a Cyclone Missile Launcher. You need at least 10 (1 special terminator gun per 5). Other than that, this group looks decently loaded for combat, just be aware that vanilla SM get their Terminators with better gear for less cost.

The Venerable Dread is arguably too expensive for what it can do; you're probably expecting it to act like a GK Psyfleman Dread and will most likely be disappointed. Either take it as a normal dread with 2x Autocannon or run it Venerable with the Las only, and let it walk around to punch people.

As nice as it is to get a Plasma Gun for free, mixing special weapons within squads is generally frowned upon tactically. Set up each squad for a specific task and have them equipped to deal with it. Give each GH squad 2 of the same gun and a wolf standard, and mark of the wulfen if you can manage it. Drop the rhinos if you need to, the age of mech is gone.

A power weapon and a plasma pistol on a LF squad leader? What on earth did those 30 points do to you to deserve that? The 4 lascannons here may or may not serve you well, but most people would rather have you run Missiles here, given their cost, reliability, and versatility.

If you end up dropping the rhinos, theres not much point in running the LRR, might as well field 10 WG terminators loaded with CML/AC and have em walk as well, but thats up to you.

Another thing to keep in mind: from what I've heard, if you really want to run Horus from the book, this is going to be more of an Apocalypse style game, as Horus is a Primarch, after all (he costs 500 points alone).

Thanks for the suggestions AreTwo, I will definitely look into changing some stuff around, this is just a 6th list, and Horus will only be a proxy, not using his actual rules in this case, We are also planning on playing Legion rules games, just not all of my friends will want to play it that way.

Well, based on the feedback, here is what i came up with. I personally don't find a 1 time use wolf standard worth the 10 points in every squad, so I soaked them up elsewhere.
