So ive been working on some converted hive guard. took a warrior model and a menagerie of bits and came up with these. also i know its incomplete because i still need to get ahold of some termagant heads for this but untill then.. this looks like the plan for my 9 hiveguard.

Wow dude, I'm seriously impressed. The Barbed Strangler/Flesh Hooks works especially well, much more cost effective than Failcast.

For a list of bits i used.
Warrior body
Monsterous creature venom cannon and stranglethorn cannon
Tyranid warrior large scything talons tyranid warrior rending claws.
tyranid termagaunt extended carapace for chest armor
and the small set of flesh hooks in the gun end

Nice weapon and use of warrior bits.

For the head carapace, could you change it to look like it's made of 2 or 3 armour pieces? That 1 very long piece doesn't look quite right to me.

good idea... i could just sand it down on the lower part of the plate also im thinking of adding armor above the top shoulder. it looks too... unarmored

or as i think about it more...ill take a pen and mark the length of the second to the top plate. and then add another layer of GS to the top plate and make it look better

did a little work on him .. and this is wht i got now.. aside from the not having a head thing... he looks cool.

his gun i noticed was sagging so i rotated it up more and glued it again. used something to hold it up while it dries.
