Ok two questions about rapier strike.
a) What happens if there is no IC or MC on the enemy unit. You lose the ability to use rapier strike?
b) When you make 2 wounds using rapier strike to IC, the IC can still roll the 2+ Look out sir and pass the wounds?

A) You cannot use the ability, and remember you must be in BtB with the model to Rapier Strike it.

B) Yes, they could LoS it away. Unless they are in a challenge, in which case you cannot ever take LoS. And with Bro Champs you should always be challenging.

In theory no, in practice yes. You may use Rapier strike, you just cannot direct those attacks against anyone.

Yes. So you should be in challenge with Brotherhood Champion when facing IC's.

These do mean that Brotherhood Champions are pretty poor in challenges against non-IC characters, as your options basically are to Blade Shield or strike with 1 attack.
