I was wondering if anyone knows of a decent alternative to http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Orks/ORK_INFANTRY_AND_WALKERS/GRETCHIN-CREW.html?

Perhaps actual Gretchin or Gnoblars?

If you can find them, the OOP plastic WFHB night goblins made great gretchin, with a little conversion. The new ones are much smaller and less convertable, sadly.

The plastic WFHB ordinary goblins are worth a look too.

In both cases, it's easy to change spears into tool shafts, etc.

And of course GW's plastic gretchin mob, although all those pistol-clutching hands can be hard to change.

Plastic Grots or Gnoblars would be my go-to. Gretchin are quite easy. Convert the pistols into blowtorches, power drills, thingamajicks-with-sawblades-on-them, orky mekaniak mesheens and whatnots.

Remember, we are talking about orks. here.

Forever a pone.
