In the new Chaos SM codex. Given the example of how you apply Chaos Marks to CSMs on page 30. Does that mean that the Mark of Nurgle adds one to the Plague Marine stat line raising it from toughness from 5 to 6?

In cases where a model already has a Mark listed, the Mark is already included in their profile. This is found in the Mark section IIRC.

So the +1T is already taken into consideration.

GW is doing away with stats that are listed as X(Y) and just going with listing the improved value of Y.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Nope, the codex says that marks that are included in their wargear/rules are already in their profiles.
So no to T6 plague marines, no I6 noise marines. etc etc

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

Thats pretty much what I thought. But the example for Tzeentch on page 30 confused me. Thanks.

Tzeentch isn't really different. Instead of a 4+ invul in the profile Tsons have MoT and Aura of Dark Glory
