Hey, don't really know much about either, but I've become a bit interested in the monstrous creatures and aliens the dark eldar employ, and their nastier close combat type units like wracks and grotesques, khymerae, and I was wondering would a specialized assault army do well? With eldar support? Harlequins? Howling banshees?

Can an allied eldar Farseer cast powers on dark eldar?

I know the dark eldar are decent at shooting by volume of fire, but I was more interested in their nasty looking assault units.

Just looking for general suggestions and advice before I start buying any models.

Thanks

Could work

Nope

DE are shooty

Shooty army is better.

Voidraven, Reavers, Archon for CC (and 2++ in eldar unit rerolling), Incubi aren't bad, Trueborn, and warriors are good also.

Wyches, are meh.

Eldar, Dark Eldar armies are awesome but are very unforgiving to mistakes. aka Hard to play but very very powerful.

Mess with the best, Die like the rest.
