i have converted astorath the grim from blood angels and was going to put him with sanguinary (blood angels again)
i have taken other models from diffrent chapters too
my main issue is how should i use all the diffrent rules????
i also read that hawklords had invented a jump pack for devastators. is this true? if so can they fire heavy weapons while moving or is that still the same?
could terminators have jump packs?
please help me and i am also looking for games in my area, if intrested please mail me

If I understand correctly, you are using the Blood Angles codex for your army?
If not then the first thing you need to do is chose a SM codex to use as the rulebook for your army. You then abide by those rules, which probably means no jumpacks on devastators or termies (I believe that is just fluff).
Also, if you chose a special character from one codex, keep in mind that the only way to chose a special character from another codex is as allies, which you can only have 1 of. For example, you can have Astorath and Vulcan in a single list, but you can't have Astorath, Vulcan and Azrael, as they're from three different codices.
I hope this helps, its all I can offer from what I understand. But main thing is, chose a SM codex to represent your army. Your choices are DA, BT, SW, BA and C:SM. I would probably go for the general SM codex.

LoneLictor on thread about an ork choking the Emperor:
LoneLictor wrote:I like to imagine the Emperor kills so many Orks that he ends up half buried beneath a pile of corpses, with only his head sticking out. A lone grot stumbles across him, and starts choking him.
Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space. |

thank you lord rogukiel
i think BA would be the best codex but then i like alot of others lol
i have lukas the trickster in my hawklord army and would use his rules of exploding when killed
i guess i need to think some more
but if hawklords dont have a codex then cant i simply use rules from all the others or would that be bending the fluff too much?

You can only use the rules from one codex, and then you might be able to take allies from another codex depending on the codex you choose and which allied codex you want. The rules are in the main rule book, you will need a copy of this to play the game.
there is no way to get a Devestator squad with Jump Packs.

You need to pick one codex to use to field your army, this codex will contain all of the special rules, choices, etc that are available to your given army. This will be your rules framework with which to make a playable, legal and game adherent force.
You can then paint up your models in which other way you want to, this will be your fluff aspect of your force, you also have some leeway in modelling aslong as the units are WYSIWIG.
As an example:
You can run a Codex: Space Marines force (codex selected) but decide that you want your force to be a concerted Salamander and Iron Hands strike force, utilising Master of the Forge to represent the Iron Hands elements leader (and taking large numbers of dreads) and Vulkan as your second HQ (to show the salamander side) and then paint appropriately.
This way you have used 1 single codex set of rules, but added your own fluff element in painting.
