Subject: Chosen with 2xLightning Claws, confusion?

Hey everyone, I'm having a bit of trouble understanding the rule for the amount of attacks a Chosen would have with 2xLightning Claws
The stats are 2A base, + 2LC = +1A for same weapon
My confusion stems from me understanding that 2 of the same weapons gives +1 attack, then adding +1 attack once more because you matched Specialist Weapons as you are carrying 2 when equip with a pair.
Does that mean a single Chosen will have 4 attacks if given a pair of LCs?

Well, possessed can't take claws. But assuming you mean chosen or any other 2A model with claw option, it works like this: 2A base. +1A for 2 weapons. Specialist Weapon prohibits you from claiming that +1A for 2 weapons unless both have the rule, not giving you an extra attack if both have the rule. It's a fine distinction. So if you have a LC and a chainsword, you only get 2 attacks despite having two weapons. If you have a LC and a power fist, then both weapons have Specialist and you are thus permitted to claim the +1 A for fighting with two weapons and thus get 3 attacks with either weapon.
A 2A model with 2 lightning claws has 3 LC attacks.

This part is not correct. If you have 2 CCW you get a bonus attack, unless one is a specialist weapon or two-handed. So you would have 2 Attacks, +1 for 2 CCWs since they are both specialist weapons.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Yes; normally 2 CCW would give you +1A, but specialist weapons denies this unless both weapons are specialist. So twin LC, both being specialist, give you the usual +1A for having 2 CCW

Nos you have confused me again :(
Lol XD
A simple 3 or 4 will suffice now and I will work my head around it once I have some more coffee.
From the way I'm seeing things with my marvelously (and apparently flawed lol) eyes;
Replacing my CCW + Boltgun + Boltpistol for 2xLCs means I have 2 CCW that are Specialist.
I must be simply thinking they are better than they are if I believe that you gain +1 attack for Specialist Weapons and +1 attack for having 2 CCWs now =/
Anyways, next post of either 3 - 4 attacks I'll humbly accept and wrap my head around later on. Thanks guys!

3
2A + 1 (for two specialist weapons) = 3
If you had a LC + Pistol OR CCW it would be 2
2A + 0 (LC is a specialist weapons, so it needs another specialist weapon to get the bonus BP or CCW are not specialist so no bonus for you). = 2

To put this simply, to aid understanding:
You'll only ever get +1 Attack for having more than one close combat weapon. (...in the Chaos Codex, don't get me started on Nids.)
Specialist Weapon *RESTRICTS* you from getting that bonus, unless both of your close combat weapons are Specialist Weapons.
So you get:
2 Attacks base
1 Attack for having two close combat weapons
You then check that your weapons aren't mismatching on Specialist, and you don't remove the extra Attack as a result of having 2.
Let's hope that does it...

I don't think it can be explained any clearer than this
So yes, the answer is 3.
