So I'm unsure myself but I'm going by what I think is competitive. The result is below

Essentially it spams plasma with a bit of melta thrown in. Pretty much everything is MeQ and should be able to just walk up the table. Mobile and gunline elements support the list, but ultimately it's the boots on the ground who do the heavy lifting. Any takers?

Plasma is great but I think the bikes need 2x Melta. Don't laugh but how about a Combi-Flamer? Lot's of Aegis Lines around... a nice TL-bolter rapid fire and a Combi-Flamer from a Bike champion could really thin the ranks so to speak.

They are fast enough to provide you with a precision scalpel unit for cracking armor while being durable enough to take the return fire.

With the new rapid fire rules, a few plasma guns on Troops choices are sufficient.

The list looks solid. Yes it's competitive. Nurgle only got better.

If you roll Master of Deception, that's lolcake.

See I was thinking about exchanging plasma on the bikes for melta since they can, as you said, provide fast and precise anti armour capabilities with great durability. Gives me 35 points to play with (I already have 5pts spare). Hmm....Maybe MoN on the Havocs and 2x GoM for the Chosen Champions.

I think that it would be a simple change that would make a big difference. : ]

GooD list, but I would be interested to see how it worked on the field. The min PM squads dont quite have the same effect as before with the FNP nerfing.

While solid at mid range shooting, they will get rolled once a semi decent HTH unit got into them.

The Nurgly biker shennanigans are a different story, though I think its going to take some time to work out the optimum build for them, Though T6 they cant be kitted out like thunderwolves, so dont fit into the same role.

The only thing that I would change prior to field testing are the chosen. How many points are tied into those guys?
Why not take those poiints into buying more bikers?

Lord on a bike with MoN woyuld be awesome when riding in a squad. Thinking about doing that myself.

Also I wouldn't play with chosen, but thats my opinion. I'd go for 20 CSM with CC weapons and Fearless. The guys at Beasts Of War thinks that those will be awesome.

With the automatic saves bikes give you as well as your power armour do you need sigil of corrution for your lord?

I have actually been in the process of amending the list. Came up with what I believe to be a superior variation while keeping the Nurgle theme:

So now I have a stronger Scoring section with not only the ability to bog down more elite enemies, but can also provide mobile cover for my more important elements and they can take up huge portions of the board. Havocs gained MoN and there are more of them. Typhus is also a bit of a beast, just have to be careful which challenges he makes (if he makes it that far, haha).

The Bikers are really there for melta delivery. The Lord can go with them and give some nice protection on the way in but really once they hit melta range of a few nice targets (shouldn't take long) he can go and deal with another unit altogether.

Well, foot slogging is a slow way to die. This also holds for small units of Chosen or Plague Marines.

It is an interesting list. I particularly like the bikers and the lord biker.

However, I must agree with other posters that footslogging is suboptimal. While the current thinking is that 6th is the end of transport spam, I believe rhinos are a great way to make plaguers even tougher to dislodge. Think about it this way - a rhino is just 35 pts, a plague marine is 24. I'd pay a bit more and increase the survivability and mobility of the entire squad. The rhinos are like plasmagun pillboxes, except better.

Another thing to consider is that if you will be taking bikers, it may make sense to cash in the large footslogger unit and just buy more bikers, because they are faster and tougher.

I am not sure it would make sense to detach the lord from his unit. He makes them fearless and they can take LOS to keep him alive and pretty. If you do not want to waste his attacks in a challenge, then challenge with the champion biker and let your lord slaughter the rest of the unit.

If you are going to take havocs, I think missile launchers are best and the flak upgrade is worth it.
