I don't understand why I keep having this issue then. I'm trying to do a bunch of orks in batches. I'm only making one pass so its not like I'm drenching them. Am I supposed to do them one at a time or something?

a lot of people assemble and then prime, some people prime on sprue, you should be washing all of your models with at least soap and water and an old tooth brush (I use "Green Stuff") and then rinsing them, that way you get rid of the mold release left behind by the casting process, this should be true with any cast pieces, Metal, Plastic or Resin. Obviously this takes a little bit more time as you have to wait for the models to dry, but easily something you could do the night before. This could be your issue, but I am not sure as I have never run into it specifically before.

my can of Armory primer did the same...
it's usually a humidity and heat issue, but my can did it everytime, so i chucked it...
it's the only brand i had a consistent problem with...

i love P3 primer, but here in the Third World we get by with cheap car primer...

cheers
