Yeah, and that's a really stupid way to do your mod, but meh, I've seen worse decisions from indie devs.

A tech based mod without IC2 feels like having a Winter Olympics without skiing. Just make a goddamned adaptor block that converts EU to RF and vice versa, and deal with it.

It seems that the server went down for its regular 2-hr naptime and never woke up.

As an aside, I've been exploring a bit and I've found that a lot of "Volcano" biomes are inexplicably just tall pillars of stone. I'm thinking this is a bug. What the hell is up with Volcanoes?

The weird volcano gen is ATG messing with things, also I decided to dsu cobble stone, so it will only be voided after I reach 2 billion stacks. The server weirdness may be the miners fault, I'll attempt to put a system in place to stop it prior to a restart in order to reduce weirdness.

Honestly, even with a full-blown Direwolf20 style strip-miner powered by Nether Stars, you'd probably still never take up more than 57 bits (and only up to 8 item types) in an ME system that auto-compresses them. I doubt that you'll end up going through actual billions.

Still, if you do, being able to build out of nearly black, blast-proof, almost mine-proof blocks of cobblestone would be kinda neat.

At the very least, I'd be willing to take them off your hands.

Or you could just use the Thermal Expansion machine that makes cobble and use it when you need it.

Saves a lot of space to have cobble on demand in a chest. For me anyway...

I believe using an upgraded Transfer Pipe on a classic vanilla Cobble Generator works faster than the TE Igneous Extruder.

edit: Ok, having a problem.

I sign in and I'm at spawn, but after only a couple seconds my entire launcher shuts down. I'm not getting any error messages or anything saying I was booted for connection issues. I've got decent connection to the server. The program just shuts down on my computer.

Anybody got an idea whats going on?

If the program outright shuts down, it may be a problem on your end. Try playing single player and just spawning in some junk.

Alternatively, check to make sure your Java is up-to-date.

Well it cant be Java. I just updated.

Edit: seems to work ok in single player. I thought it might be the older mod pack but that doesn't seem to be the problem.

I've got a decent connection and I did succeed in connecting to the actual server, it just immediately shuts my entire program down.

Well it worked longer this time before shutting down. Managed to see how many people were on, looks like it was just you Absolutions.

Yeah, I just saw you log in and out... twice.

Perhaps that Console window displays something right before crashing?

Well I just noticed my CPU usage is very high with FTB running. Its normally under 12% and with it actively running it jumps up to 40-50%

And it just spiked up to 99% and then settled down to 60-70, and then kicked me off. Now its back to normal levels around 10%

Is my CPU overloading and shutting down Java? Is that even possible?

Well that time my CPU didn't go over 80 but I still got shut down.

No abnormal processes are running. I'm stumped.
