Personally I think your getting shot up by any serious shooting lists. And I think that 3 missile/2 las cannon is the best set up for fangs now. You need that ap 2.

The las are too exp and i have 6 plasmaguns for that

I personally disagree as I find then far more affective as ap3 does poorly vs tanks. Just opinion.

The 12 shots from the plasmaguns are 2 ap so i thing they lack only range

S7 ap2 is great. Just not good vs tanks other than transports and you have to waste your whole units bolters when shooting a tank the long fangs could have killed already.

Incorrect. s7 ap2 24 inch rapid fire. If they were s9 no one in the whole world would need a meltagun...

Are you just planning on walking the Logan-star up the field? It would be better at least invest in a drop pod or outlfank them with the priest.

LF setup is fine as in. Some people can make a good argument for plasma cannons but lascannons are too expensive.

I havent ever true outflank so i dont know, my idea is to walk cover and walk again

OH NOES I LOST THE FERST BLUD. I managed to move 18" or pop smoke and soak up a lot of fire allowing my GHs to get where they needed to go unscathed. I guess my job was to not die, rather than to transport.

Walking from cover to cover won't do a hell of a lot. It means you'll give up good positioning for a 5+ save, which a lot of weapons ignore (or orders force you to reroll). This kind of foot-slogging list is a dream for any shooting based army - which is them all now.

plus you have 3 hq choices.

my advice if your gonna use logan run a logan wing list

wolfguard troops

10x WG 2xterminators, 2xCML 1xchainfist, 1x wolfclaw, and maybe a few combi meltas
300pnts

you can get three of them in a 1500pnt list, great core units, shooty and footsloggy, and each guy has 4 attacks on the conter charge as theyre wolf guard, thats 32attacks, it kills most units in game.

This is correct and good advice. You also don't need terminators to run Logan wing.

This is irrelevant. Volume of fire kills everything and when you have so few troops, eventually they'll be dead, or break and run. This can be backed up with statistics and anecdotal evidence.

I agree with Griddlelol. You typically kill terminators by shooting them down. Walking a single a unit up the board makes it an easy target to focus and avoid.

All I am going to say here is false. This is a very ineffective unit for its points, I feel like there have been several attempts at this recently and it is just bad math.

As for the CMLs 2x LFs with MLs costs you 50 pts and as a unit of 4xML on 5xLFs costs you 115 points and allows you to split fire. You are paying 63 points per model to have 2x missiles when you inevitably drop the ball and roll a 1 on a single save you have effectively lost 1/2 of the over priced WG units combat effectiveness. All WG are are over priced Blood Claws if you are using them for CC or over priced GHs if you are using them for shooting. I personally believe that LoganWing is no longer a viable option unless you are using logan to get 1 unit of scoring termis in a LR or Drop Pod and even that is very expensive and probably a bad idea (insert parable of all eggs being in one basket here). I think as a SW player you need to play your strengths... GHs LFs and RPs that is all you really need to win games.

Why not try and be more adventourous with your list.

I know in mathhammer in a few cases they come out best, but from my experinece the 10 man wolf guard unit, that is with only two terminators is very effective.

You don't believe me, try it, thats what i run and it works, rentless missle launchers thats what effectively they are, and theyre good, slow advance.

I havent played with new flyers yet only 5th ones but they wrecked them in 5th.

Being "booooring" is irrelevant to effectiveness. Your logic for them not being a great way to win games is just opinion and what seems to be a desire for a different flavour list. If I wanted (and if OP wanted) a terminator spamming list, dark angels would be a better option, instead you are adovcating an expensive wolf guard list which is not better than the standard (and there's a good reason so many people choose it) GH, LF, RP spamming list.

If you're saying that you like Logan Wing with expensive WG terminators, that's a valid opinion, but don't say it's more effective than the ideas proposed based entirely on your interest in a different flavour of space wolves.
