not sure where to put this thread. 40k or fantasy, I'll just drop it here.

I'm going to be started a thousand sons army and I really want to include 3 forgefiends. Though I'm not really sold on the look of the models. I don't think they really fit into the aesthetic of the 1k sons. So idea: convert my own forgefiend from the Tomb King Warsphinxs/Necrosphinx. My big question before I go out and buy all the stuff, is how are the size comparisons? Does anybody have any idea? I have only gotten glances of each model IRL. And never seen a side by side comparison, so I would just like to know how they match up.

Not really very helpful here, but i'd guess they aren't hugely different in size. The Warsphinx is probably longer. But the Forgefiend is on a large oval (Trygon) base.

I think its a great idea, plus the Sphinx is cheaper.

with bits cost for the guns they won't be. But I don't mind.

Another conversion idea I'm toying with is using the warsphinx body as the base of a helldrake conversion. Not sure what wings to use.
