I have two questions on gw rules for 6th edition
Firstly as a ba player, can i have everything in reserve for turn 2 or do i automatically lose?
secondly can stormravens still deepstrike?
Any help would be much appreciated

The only way you can have everything in reserves is if they are required to start in reserves i.e. everyone is in drop pods, or flyers. Also remember that stuff required to be in reserves does not count against your reserves. So if you have 4 drop pods and 4 jump infantry, the 4 drop pods have to be in reserves then you can have 2 jump infantry in reserves and 2 would have to be deployed.

I seem to recall reading in the FAQ that if you have nothing on the table at the end of game turn 1 (ie : everything in reserve) you lose.

That's correct. I think there's now a generic rule that allows 1/2 of your drop pods, rounded up, to deploy first turn though (Don't think it existed in 5th, only for special armies or something). It's also why there's a 50% limit.

So if i have everything in my beautiful 2 storm ravens i don't lose?
p.s that is really really annoying for ba, who has anything but assault marines, sanguinary guard, terminators or storm ravens or even a deep-striking land raider.

Again, if you have "nothing" on the board by the end of a game turn, you lose.

Storm ravens have to start in reserves, and can come on in turn 2 at the earliest, so if you have EVERYTHING in those two fliers, you've been "tabled" turn 1.

Nothing says you have to deep strike assault marines, sanguinary guard or terminators.

I know you don't have to deepstrike assault marines , but why would you start them on the table. Its mainly due to the fact play a daemons player who uses 27 flamers, if I start anything on the board it gets nuked.

Are you talking about Drop Pod assault? AKA the drop pod rule, 1/2 your pods rounded up arrive Turn1.(existed in 5th)

I'd Strongly recommend some Sanguinary priests, spreading out your units. Remember that when the Flamers DS not all of them will be able to hit you with the templates as they cannot hit their own squad. Stay spread out well and you won't get obliterated, with the priest you will at least get FnP saves. Possibly even take some Rhinos stick them in front of your troops? Or take things like the Sky Shield which grants a 4++ to units on top of it when the "shields up" against shooting attacks.

Essentially 6th is a new ball game, stop sulking and start trying.

Plus if you spread out a unit on the Landing pad, the flamers will not even be able to DS on top of it, and the effect of the flamers will be minimal.

Ya, I just wasn't sure if that was what it was actually called or that's just what people here called it.
