I am looking at doing quite a bit of sculpting with GS here in the near future. What tools do you recommend and what method do you use to lubricate them and the surface you are working on that is safe to use with GS!

Appreciate all the help will post some photos when I am done with my minor projects once school has cleared up some time not doing BIG TESTS!

If you are using metal tools like the GW one, then normal water is fine. In addition to those I also have some silicone clay shapers that do not require not lubricant, they work great.

Here are some metal ones: http://www.ebay.com/itm/12pc-Denal-Picks-Probe-Wax-Carver-Set-Stainless-Steel-/280718163270

Here's a look at what I use when sculpting: http://fromthewarp.blogspot.com/2012/03/sculpting-tools-i-use.html
There are lots of cool things out there, but only a couple tools I use consistently.

When people ask me, "How do you build your army?"
I tell them its "The ten-zero factor, coolness ten, combat effectiveness... zero."
