me and a friend were discussing how the Biomancy spell life leech would work with a squad of paladins? the exact wording is the following

"If life leech causes at least one unsaved wound, the psyker immediately regains a wound lost earlier in the battle(up to his starting number of wounds)

my question is say 2-3 of my paladins are missing wounds would they all regain the one missing wound, or would only a single paladin regain such wound?

i ask because the squad has the brotherhood of psykers rule meaning they all together act as a single psyker? im unsure of how to play this as i could see it going both ways

A: only a single paladin can re-gain the missing wound since the spell specifically states "the psyker immediately regains A wound" meaning one

B: they all can regain a wound since they all act as a single psyker.

OBV i want B to be true but i would like to be able to prove it with an FaQ or some other reference that i cant seem to find in the BRB. can anyone help?

The psyker gains one wound, so the unit gains one wound, not multiples.

Now, the only question is if you are allowed to decide which model it goes to, or if that has to be random. And if random, would that include models that are not missing a wound.

On a related note: Can you please type out the rules that are allowing you a roll from the biomancy table with your paladins? As is they are not one of the psykers listed in the grey knight faq as having permission to do that... (no unit with the 'Brotherhood of Psykers' USR is, to my awareness)

Presuming they were somehow given the ability? it seems that lifeleech only restores 'one' wound, regardless of how many psykers are involved in the manifestation.

The 'Brotherhood of Psykers' rule acts thusly: "A unit with this special rule counts as a Mastery Level 1 Psyker..." except they all suffer a perils if one is rolled, and they have to use the leadership of one of the characters in the unit with the USR (if available) or the highest leadership amongst the rest with the USR if no character remains alive.

You'll note there is no specific permission to multiply the effects of the psychic ability; just perils and some leadership related verbiage.

Have a read of the FAQ, there exists your only permission to ever take BRB powers, and it specifies exactly who can swap and for what
