Hey guys, i was wondering what is a good acrylic paint mixture for space wolves. I dont have the money to buy new paint so im using normal arcylic paint. I know this isnt ideal for models but i was wondering what combination of paint can i mix together to make a decent space wolf grey to undercoat my models with.

I'd say grey... a really light grey and mix in blue only a small amount. I have the GW paints and use shadow grey which is a dark grey blue and space wolves grey which is a light grey blue. You can pull up GW's color chart on their website to try and color match... Best of luck, if all else fails make them black and grey, the Old Ones.

Gf is painting her first wolves pack and she primes black then adeptus battlegrey, fortress grey, codex grey then space wolves grey followed by a wash of asurmen blue. She drybrushes each layer dark-light wettest-dryest.
The result is a blue stone effect that I love. It's positively fenrisian IMHO.

With finecast you can bypass the washing stage and throw them straight into the bin.
Or cut out the middleman and just flush some money down the toilet.

I painted my wolves a long time ago so it is the old names as well, but I used a 50/50 mix of shadow grey and spacewolf grey as well, it was a nice mix, if you are going for current era wolves, then that is probably a close.
Pre Heresy the wolves were much more of a "True" grey, I would say even closer to GW Codex Grey. so this is also an option if you want to go for that look.
