Hello all.
I've been a long-time collector of
40K and off-again/on-again player of the game. I got into the game back when the original Rogue Trader came out and sorta dropped out around 2E, though I still picked up models with the hope of playing again one day.
I Just got back into playing last December (with 5E), and just picked up 6E last month. My return to the game was sparked by my eldest son (and new Necron models), who now sports a Chaos army. Which is somewhat hilarious, as it was Chaos armies that drove me away from the game back in 2E. I'm building my own combined force of Grey Knights, Space Marines and Imperial Guard based on a chapter I created back in 2E, but I also have a collection of Necrons, Tau, Tyranids and Eldar (about a 1200 point force each).
I was actually looking for views on the flying rules that brought me here. A couple of weeks ago, my son (age 11) got introduced at a Con - the hard way - to the flying rules. So I've bought a couple flying models and we're going to be trying them out ourselves in about a week or so
