Hey guys.

Thought I'd show you all my recently completed Forgefiend. Overall this has been a great model to work on, and quite entertaining in-game . For those wanting more, there are many, many more pictures on my latest blog post: http://powerarmouredmetal.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/showcase-chaos-space-marine-forgefiend.html

Enjoy and respond.

Your photography is a little blown out; try taking a naturally lit picture against a white background without using the flash on your camera. It looks rather nice, even though a lot of detail and color is washed out.

Yeah they're not the best pics. Didn't use any flash though, it might have been my LED lamp being too close. Sucks when your 'natural light' is grey and rarely there

Update: New pics, with less light-related washing, better white balance, and all that jazz

Awesome paintjob again! I would highly suggest that anyone who wants to see better photos go to his Blogspot page as there are some cracking images there

The yellows are really well done. That model looks quite good in TS colors!

It is looking very good. I wasn't sure how a TS forgefiend would work but it sure turned out nice. The base is quite nice as well.

Sounds a cool idea, might have to try that at some point, but my current gaming funds have already been directed towards creating a Thousand Sons (post heresy) Fellblade Or whatever people decide to vote on in my Facebook poll Fellblade is the favourite use of my old Baneblade though at the moment That, and more terrain.

-Basecoat of Vallejo Charred brown
-Layer: Old GW Dwarf Flesh
-Wash: Reikland Fleshshade
-layer: Old GW Dwarf Flesh (leave wash in recesses)
-Layer: Kislev Flesh
-Wash: Carroburg Crimson
-Layer: Kislev Flesh (leave wash in recesses)
-Highlight: Kislev Flesh/Elf flesh (1:1 ratio)

seems like this colour scheme goes well for most mechanical models. You paint job was extremely impressive, makes me want to go repaint my defiler this theme haha.

Good looking model; I almost want to breakdown and buy the codex just to know the rules...almost

Thanks It was a nice scheme to do, and I'll have fun applying it to the Helldrake later on. So....much....trim....
