I started writing a story in German recently, and I don't know what I should do with it. It's not good enough to sell, and I don't know if it will go well on my blog. I was told that it isn't bad, so maybe I could get people to read it as I add to it. Is there anyone who would be able to read it who would be interested in it?

It starts out with a scene based on my experience living in an apartment complex where we threw down constantly with large parties. One of the main characters is from East Germany and is wearing a green dirndl. She makes fun of her boyfriend's roommate who is taking to a weird guy (based on this kid from my German I class) in German about a scene from Medal of Honor Frontline, and tells him that he needs to find a girl. There are a lot of drunk antics, and a table being thrown through a wall.
The next morning, the girl wakes up and goes to the Warhammer website (insert something like Sturmkrieg created in mid-late 2005) that he created and she did the technical work for because she happens to have the experience. She ends up finding a weird story that one of her friends wrote a long time ago. Inquisitor Kamarova also realizes that her friend is also someone else who came to the website more recently. There is then drama as she removes the old stories from the website and eventually goes after the other website when he tries to retaliate.

I was told that I should do it as a play, with the internet parts acted out.

Yeah a link to the story itself would be good, unfortunately meine deutsch ist nicht gut as the butchering of this very sentence can attest, so I'll have to read it through a translate filter.

Or potentially going through a rewrite process to tone it up might bring it to a standard for publication, perhaps not with the big houses, but perhaps self publishing in some format? The play idea's also intriguing, you could choreograph some fight scenes for the story removals and what have you with appropriate narration.

It's fairly simple, if you know German, it will help a lot. Either way, it would work fine. I plan do small level publishing for everything, as there's a lot of good services. Google Books is good, Amazon sells books electronically and has a printing company for small publishers, and Apple is good and supports a lot of content in their books, but there's a lot more paper work to go through.

I thought it would be fun do the party scene as a play and interesting to act out internet events.

I'm informed by content creator friends of mine that using Apple programs to sell and host your own content, if you bother to read the user agreement, actually turns your rights to your content over to Apple.

I'm also continuing work on this. In particular, I plan to develop the conflict between Henry and Inquisitor Kamarova, and plan for him not to figure out that it's actually his friend, which depending on how things go, could either be really unbelievable or really idiotic of him. If he figures out who Inquisitor Kamarova is, it would be really stupid for him not to come to the conclusion that two girls with the same name from the same country who both happen to be involved with Warhammer are actually the same person. That, and also the fact that her boyfriend's army would also be on the website, and Henry would know about it from going to the same GW and FLGS.
