Was playing my Tyranid army the other day and i ran into this situation where i was not quite sure in wich order to do thing.

I had a brood of Raveners with 2 sets of scything talons (reroll missed attacks) and they were in range of my Hive Tyrant, giving them the preferred enemy special rule (reroll hits and wounds on a roll of 1)

Now in wich order do i do this? Do i reroll ALL misses first, and then reroll the 1s, or do i reroll the 1s, and then reroll all misses...
If i reroll because of the scything talons first, do i reroll the 1s from those aswell or just the original 1s?
If i reroll the 1s first and then all missed, do i reroll the misses from that new roll? (i'm assuming no, double rerolls and all that)

You can't reroll rerolls, In this case youd use the flat reroll fromt he talons and the reroll of 1s to wound. Basically you get the best reroll available.

Basically, Preferred Enemy is wasted on the to-hit rolls for anything with dual talons. You still re-roll 1s to wound though.
