Still very new to the game playing aspect, in fact I haven't played a whole game yet. So this list may seem a little messed up from lack of experience. After reading around and seeing what's decent in 6th ed, here's my attempt at 2000 points:

Typhus - 230
Lord with MoN and Black Mace - 125

2 squads of 7 Plagues Marines - 608
VotLW
2x plasma guns
Champ has power fist and plasma pistol
Rhino

7x Plague Marines, same as above but with 2x melta guns instead - 289

10x Zombie Cultists - 50

6x Bikes - 207 OR 7x Bikes - 397
2x plasma guns 2x plasma guns
MoS MoN
IoE IoV

3x Obliterators - 234
VotLW
MoN

If I go with the Slannesh bikes, that leave me with 257 points left over. That's enough to throw in Epidemius and some daemons, or I can go heavier with another squad of Oblits, Havocs, or a Forgefiend. If I go with Nurgle bikes, I can add another 10 zombies, and that's about it. Now, being my first army, I don't have a play style just yet, but I would like some ranged guys to blow stuff up from afar. My first reaction is to throw on Obliterators or try a Forgefiend.

If you're only going to take a single Fiend, opting for more power armored bodies of any type would be better. A lone fiend stands out too much.. Buff the units you already have, or add the havocs or oblits.

Epid seems popular, though I have *never* seen anyone use it in person. Just lists online.

I'd stick with what works- more Plague Marines.

After some reviewing I might take out Typhus and the cultists and leave him for an Epi build, and then throw a Lord on a bike. This would free up quite a bit of points to add Havocs and some AP 2/3 weaponry.
