Subject: Al Smith Charity: Both Obama and Romney were funny
Presidental Candidates usually attends these and traditionally, their "speech" are comedic...
Here's some bits:
Romney:
"I was hoping Mr. President would bring Joe BIden along... because he'll laugh at anything"
"Speaking of Sesame Street, tonight's dinner was brought to you by the letter 'O' and the number 16 trillion."
"You can't get through an election without someone who truly stands with you. I have my lovely wife Ann, he has Bill Clinton."
"Of course rules have to be enforced, we need to make sure things are fair, (sarcastically) that's why we have the press."
"But the press and I have different jobs. My job is to tell the American people my plans for the country, the press' job is to make sure no one hears about it."
Obama:
"I felt well-rested, after the nice long nap I had during the first debate."
"I want to apologize to Chris Matthews. The first time I gave him a thrill up his leg, this time I gave him a stroke."
"Actually, Mitt is his middle name. (ruefully) I wish I could use my middle name."
On the next debate on Foreign Policy: "Spoiler alert: We got bin Ladin."
Both were great!

lo, now I'm glad I didn't solely judge them on how they interrupted each other during the debates. That was great
Seeing a squad of veterens swoop in in a Vendetta, secure the area, deliver that math assignment, and extract within 2 minutes would be freaking sweet.

I thought they were both quite good, and I think Romney has finally been able to find/be himself in the last several weeks; this person seems to be more a smart, funny, likeable guy than the heartless bastard that he's been constantly portrayed as.

I did too, but after hearing some of the quick one-liners during the second debate and watching/listening to the two candidates at the al smith dinner, Mitt came off as funnier. Obama seemed to be a little more... uh... professional. That is not to say that the president wasn't funny, he had some good ones, but Mitt was a little more consistent.
The honey boo boo joke was pretty flat.

I would expect so... all that time he could've dedicated to actually creating a budget plan instead went into writing one-liners.

Whom, it seemed like Mitt's humor (at least fromt eh highlights Whembly posted) was more subtle attacks agains the Pres, while the Pres was much more self-depreciating?
I will have to watch all of both to confirm.

I debated ironically answering 'yes', but then I decided against it as my answer would exactly double the threat of in-person voter fraud in the US.
