Hey dudes, long story short is that I was able to trade my Empire for a Bretonnia Army and after seeing what I had and getting things in order, I wrote up a quick 3,000 point list just in time for a friends fun mega-game he is creating at his home sometime next week. Good news is too is that if I need to add more points, I already have plenty of extra, and with this list I was trying to go for a more balanced yet effective approach so tell me what you guys think.

Pretty simple and straight-forward. KOTR units give me some much needed hitting power with WS4, while the peasent Men-@-Arms give me the much needed rank bonus to support my knights.Peasent Bowmen will be protecting my Trebuchet's from flyers and such, and my Peg Knights will do what they do best in war-maching hunting and redirectors if needed. Besides this however, I am tempted of dropping the Pegasus Knights and rearranging my list in favor of running a unit of Grail Knights since a friend mentioned that Pegasus Knights arent worth it due to them being targeted and dying quickly to magic and shooting. Is it worth keeping them or should I change my points up to get a unit of Grail Knights?

I would go for the asf sword on the lord, with his good initiative you can get re-rolls to hit. Re-rolling armour isn't great when you are going for hkb. Also, consider armour of aguilef + gauntlet of the duel. Forcing enemies to accept can help snipe wizards.

On your prophetess the chalice of malfleur is better than a dispel scroll since it gives a consistent boon to your dispel pool and you can heal the ones with lifebloom.

I don't think knightly temper is worth it on a paladin, a lord would be a much better choice since you can fit the blessed cuirass and the tress of isolude to really maximize your bonus attacks. Also grail vow is nice so you can hit ethereal.

I would look for more magic banners as well. The banner of chalons, the warbanner, the banner of swiftness all fit on kotr and all are good. Even swapping a squad out for some knights errant with the errantry banner would help save points.

Fair points mate. To answear your questions:

* I will most likely switch out the Birth Sword with something else, considering the Heartwood Lance so I can reroll failed wounds, which can give me a chance to possibly get Heroic Killing Blow off.

*I thought about the Chalice but I went with the Scroll as it completely dispel a spell, which can be useful if someone tries to use a nasty spell like Dwellers Bellow but doesnt roll Irresistable Force.

* Reason for Knightly Temper on the Paladin is to give me some much needed hitting power for my lance formations, and since my Lord already has Heroic Killing Blow, he is the next best thing, and it saves me some points.

*I have thought of taking a unit of Knights Errant but not sure if they are worth the points due to there WS3, anyone can prove me wrong?

Decent list there isn't alot to do with Bretonnia, my 2cents would be to bump a few of the KotR regiments to 15 just because at 3k points most people will have large units, and most likely fielding ideas of hordes, which after you line up, they will probably go standard and have a lot of ranks and always be steadfast on you so the extra attacks will help when you charge, if not you're dead anyways. Also 2 trebuchets is a must, but I'd also consider 9 grail knights or so, something to pull shooting away from your main force and characters.

Also since you have 2 casters use a dispell scroll and a silver mirror, so you can get that auto s6 hit and 2 dispells and fear bad magic rolls less.
