Was looking for a ruling and noticed they were updated. Mostly small stuff...
Q: How do I calculate whether my Knights Errant are ‘within
charge range’ for the purposes of their Impetuous rule? (p48)
A: Measure from the Knights Errant unit to see whether one
or more enemy units are within their maximum possible charge
range. If this is the case then this rule comes into effect.
Q: Can an army include more than one of the same magic item
(for example the Dispel Scroll)? (Reference)
A: No.
Q: Do lone characters get a Look Out, Sir roll against Impact
Hits if there is a friendly unit consisting of five or more models of
the character’s troop type within 3”? (p96)
A: Yes.
Q: Do units that are deployed as Scouts count toward determining
who finished deploying their army first? (p79)
A: No.
Q: If a unit charges into combat and, on the turn it charges, the last
of the enemy unit it is fighting are removed as casualties due to
Daemonic Instability, the Unstable special rule, Cornered Rats or as
a result of a War Machine failing its Break test, does the charging
unit get to make an Overrun move? (p58).
A: No.
Page 107 – The Battle Standard Bearer.
Add “If a Battle Standard Bearer is in a unit that Refuses a
Challenge and is subsequently moved to the rear of its unit, it
loses the Hold Your Ground rule until the end of the turn.
Note, however, that if the Battle Standard Bearer has a magic
standard its effects continue to apply as normal (it cannot be
‘switched on or off’)”.
Q: If a Tomb King has the Fencers Blades, does the My Will Be
Done special rule mean that he makes his unit Weapon Skill 10?
(p30).
A: No; use the Tomb King’s unmodified Weapon Skill of 6,
not his modified value of 10.
Q: Does the effect of Djaf’s Incantation of Cursed Blades apply to
Impact Hits? (p61).
A: Yes.

VC and Empire updates! Noticed the VC critters that scream into combat are confirmed to be able to scream into combats they aren't currently fighting in.
The scouting answer in particular is quite a relief.
No overruns on "popped" units is a pretty surprising ruling to me. Really gives a bump to VC chaff. Less so to slaves, since I didn't know too many occasions where they popped in one go.
The BSB answer is a pretty huge change!
I noticed the High Elf FAQ had an updated version number, according to the files I had on hand, but I couldn't find anything marked in magenta. Any High Elf players spot any changes there?
@dodicula: Didn't look at the Ogre FAQ as the version hadn't changed- I'll investigate. Automatically Appended Next Post: Ah, I knew I was forgetting something- this seems big- affecting elven peg riders and demigryph cav. Perhaps other significant units that I can't think of off the top o' my head...
Page 83 – Monstrous Cavalry.
In the second paragraph, replace “All the cavalry rules…with
one exception – monstrous cavalry always use the highest
Wounds characteristic…” with “All the cavalry rules…with
two exceptions – monstrous cavalry always use the highest
Toughness and Wounds characteristics…”

Indeed, the HE one is the same as 1.4. Also, Bretonnian players will need to rename the file. It downloads as m2710123a_Bretonnia_v1.5 you need to rename it m2710123a_Bretonnia_v1_5.pdf which may require you to tell Windows to show file extensions. Beastly. And T4 Unkillable Dread Lords on Dark Pegasi!!!!! that made him stupid op. I love it.

I really wish they would put dates on the titles so we could know which ones were updated without having to open every single one.
The BSB and overrun rules are pretty major. So is the monsterous cav one.
Annoyed on the VC one, didn't clarify some of the questions about the healing with IoN. They answered the vampire unit one, but not the question about other characters being healed by the lore ability.
*edit* Just read the TK one. They got a huge boost with allowing EBtS to deploy as normal. The only thing that could have been better would have been if they had said the Desert Wind spell does heal in combat units. Which they had a chance to say and said no.

Is v1.4 new for Dwarfs? There's a single question in magenta...
Q: If a unit who deployed using the Scouts special rule are targeted with the Rune of Oath and Honour on the first turn of the game, can they use this to declare a charge against an enemy unit even though they have set up as Scouts and therefore would not normally be allowed to do so? (p31)
A: No

Interesting - I could've sworn the link read 1.4 (on the UK site).

Sorcerers on Disk no longer count as cavalry thus no longer the armor bonus.
Furthermore, WoC heroes with the tome that turns them into wizards may no longer take items normally only wizards may take,

Untrue. They're just clarifying that they don't count as flying cavalry- which means they don't have fast cav.

Anyone who hadn't already figured out how impetuous in 8thed works...well honestly it's just a stupid question and the answer was obvious from day 1 that it was frenzy without the benefits.
These FAQs have done nothing good for bretonnians. Now you can't overrun from VC/DoC which means those armies who already had access to plenty of redirectors just got a boost over CC focused armies. Way to make us more reliant on shooting/magic GW.
It seems demigryph weren't selling well enough so they had to bump them up to make them worth it (i.e. turn them into mournfang). They also have yet to answer more pressing questions like how comet of cassandora is cast (in the front arc or anywhere on the table?). This Is just one disappointment after another. The game needs changing up and soon, even with new army books on the way the system has been heavily neglected (see: Empire release).

Ehsteve- I think that's a bit much. There was some useful stuff answered- Scouts and first turn roll is one that comes immediately to mind...

iirc Comet of Cassandora hasn't changed much at all since 6th edition, and has always been cast anywhere on the table.
I can't back that up with page references, but that is how I've always thought it worked.
