Take a look at a defiler or a helldrake, two awesome looking models that are tons of fun to look at and paint 
I find vehicles are an excellent change of pace after working on a good deal of infantry.

There are a LOT of units to add to your army! Chaos Space Marines, Heldrakes, Maulerfiends, Predators, Vindicators, allied Daemons, all kindsa stuff! Chaos are a neat army. Buy more toys. Just get the codex first to figure out what toys you want first.

The first thing I would suggest would be the Chaos Space Marines Codex. It has the rules of all available models for Chaos. If you care more about models than rules, I would suggest the Chaos Terminator Lord plastic kit, the Chaos Terminator kit, and the Forgefiend kit, as all three options are really cool models. Additionally, terminators would be a nice addition to the Chaos army from Dark Vengence, and the Forgefiend is just amazing on the table with it's guns. Oh, and while you do have two troops options from DV in the form of cultists, I would suggest getting a squad of Chaos Space Marines as an additional troops choice with a bit more durability.
