This was quite an undertaking. I replaced his legs with storm strider legs, shifted the waist join forward, tilted the main torso back and tilted the big guns forward quite a lot. I took my time with the painting and even started out airbrushing the blue. The project was thoughly enjoyable but, man, I am happy it is finally finished.

Looks nicely balanced with those legs and the base is quite interesting.

Sweet modeling! Looks pretty fearsome, i'm not sure about the purple, i'd love to see a Khorne type walker!

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Regarding the paint job, the glowing purple on the legs especially is great! Awesome conversion idea and execution... Cygnar is getting too tempting

The paint job is amazing! Great color scheme. I love everything about this model except the Stormstrider legs. BUT that's just my opinion and means nothing in the long run.

Its a wonderfully done model.

Great converion, really like how you used the quad legs on the colossus, makes it more stout and ready for battle.

That is freaking awesome. Paintjob is lovely, as well. Love the glowy purple bits, although the eyes could possibly stand to be a little brighter... they get a little lost in the shadows.

It's always nice top see people look outside the box with Warmachine minis, since there doesn't seem to be that much of it going on...

Mother of God, that thing's a masterpiece!
The paintjob alone is outstanding, and that's quite a risk you took there with the cost of both kits. Certainly a risk worth taking though, as the conversion is perfectly executed, and probably the best conversion I've seen in a long while.
Breathtaking work.

How labor intensive of a conversion was it?
I'm guessing that there was more to it than placing the torso of a Stormwall onto the bottom half of the battle-engine whose name escapes me, but I'm hoping I'm wrong...

I could have done that if I wanted -the two kits have a very similar waist join. The fit is very close, but I had problems with the waist pistons touching the hip guards so I decided to take it a few steps further. I added a spacer under the stormwall's waist to elevate those pistons then I shifted the point where they join forward on the strider pelvis.

It was much more work leaning the torso back than it was connecting the two half-kits.
