Stuck on duty and fiddling around with neat ideas to run my favorite looking models to be somewhat effective (Raptors/Warp Talons)
HQ:
Huron
Sorceror (mastery level 1, combi-melta, sigil, spell familiar, gift, slaneesh steed, Dimensional Key, MOS)
Troops:
2x 5 man CSM squads with melta, rhinos, IOV
Fast Attack:
2x 15 raptors with melta x2, 1 lightning claw per champ, gifts, melta, MOK, IOW,
1, 10-man Warp Talons, 2 gifts, MOS
Strategy:
Obviously huron is a solid HQ but I wanted him to outflank a decent chunk and deepstrike if necessary, obviously depending upon the terrain, put him with a CSM squad in a rhino. CSM's are for sitting on objectives, hopefully long enough for the fast attacks to do their dirty work lol. I gave the raptors MOK and IOW for two reasons. 1) and 15 man squad is crazy resilient if put in the right place no matter the combat 2) mok allows them to be as effective if they get charged from DS or Outflanking from Huron due to counter attack, though considering an axe or fist for those solid HQs in CC.
the talons and the sorceror go together as they'll both move 12", he will use Sensory overload on the intended charge target and proceed to destroy and pick off the weakest to the strongest units... true Night Lord style lol
