Hey all, I'm fresh to all things GW. Been playing TTWG's since early last year when I moved into the city I'm in now and wandered into a random shop, looking for RPG players
Had 3 games of WHFB thus far using a friend's spare High Elf army and having a blast. Trying hard to decide between investing into my own Ulthuan army or into the Daemons of Chaos as they both appeal to me aesthetically and the whole elite-but-fragile thing going for them. Oh, and a strong magic presence is a definite must (nothing like dropping purple sunlight of doom on massed enemies lol).

And when I do finally invest, this will be my third 'army scale' game (started with Flames of War and then found Dystopian Wars). I also have a fair collection of Malifaux.

Well yeh, I'd say the question is off. Decided to go with the DoC as no one in my area has them and the models are just too frikken sweet to pass up
