I was having a fairly friendly rules discussion with a few friends of mine, The topic in hand was 'the most broken RAW rule in the game' and i think i may be on to a winner.
Nemensor Zahndrekh has the 'Phased reinforcement' rule, this essentially allows you to deepstrike units in the opponents turn, via the deepstrike rules.
The Deepstrike rules then go on to define what actions a deepstriked unit can perform:
P36.
'In that turns shooting phase, these units can fire (or run) as normal, and obviously count as having moved in the previous movement phase.'
On P9 the rulebook defines a turn:
'Whenever a rule refers to 'a turn' it always means 'player turn' unless it specifically refers to a 'game turn'
So since phased reinforcements, and i guess Ethereal Interception on deathmarks, allows you to break the usual turn sequence, do the deepstrike rules then give me permission to fire the (player) turn i arrive?
The only ruling that i can see against it is that the deepstrike rules reference 'as normal' in the rules, but the deepstrike rules seem to be written on the assumption that you will arrive on your own turn rather than your opponents.
So, RAW, is there any way for me to win our discussion
