In the GK FAQ, it says the nemesis greatsword has 4 attacks and is strength 10?

How at all is this possible?

Yep they FAQ'd it to if you buy the greatsword you can still use the doomfist for strength 10 and get all the rerolls the sword provides.

The Greatsword gives the model the ability to re-roll hits. So you upgrade one Doomfist to a Greatsword. The Doomfist is a DCCW which doubles strength. Swing with a Doomfist, get an extra attack for 2 weapons (neither Specialist), re-roll hits, and it's STR10.

The sword rerolls hits wounds and armour pen.

Right, I always forget that (for some reason I keep thinking it's only to-hits). The Sword makes the model do all that in close combat. You don't have to attack with it to gain the benefit.

And it also ends up being ap 2 by virtue of being a monstrous creature iirc
