Hey fellas!

So I've only had the pleasure to run this list once in fifth, and it did pretty good (plus its lots of fun). Its deffinately for casual play, I just wanted to know if there was anything you guys would tweak. Please let me know

HQ

Bikerboss ×2- Pk, cybork body, bosspole

Troops

2×8 Nob bikers- 7 Pk's, 7 cybork bodys, 1 waaagh banner, painboy

Hey I am just picking up my Orks and doing a list similar to this but here's the deal... your list is 20 points over (1520 points total) and you have too many power klaws. Also you say you have 7 Cybork per squad but everyone in the squad MUST have it, so you gotta bump it up to all 8 guys having Cybork. Each of your Nobs is worth 75 points. It'd make sense to drop AT LEAST 2 power klaws from each squad and picking up some Gretchin to hide back to hold objectives. I know it'd be fun to wreck face, but you gotta have some kind of backup. Here's my 1750 list:

Warboss + Power Klaw + Warbike + Cybork Body
Warboss + Power Klaw + Warbike + Cybork Body

7 Lootas
7 Lootas
5 Lootas

8 Nob Bikers w/ Cybork Body + 2 Power Klaws + Big Choppa + Bosspole + Waaagh! Banner + Painboy
8 Nob Bikers w/ Cybork Body + 2 Power Klaws + 2 Big Choppas + Bosspole + Waaagh! Banner + Painboy
15 Grots with a Runtherders

Aegis Defence Line with Quad Gun

On your way into close combat you're going to loose some Nobs, so you might as well drop some PKs on the guys in the front. On average 2 PKs on the charge will take out 3 Terminators... what are you gonna charge that is gonna need 7? I know you can hope to multi-assault tons of stuff, but then that's tons of stuff hitting you first. I'd assume that having some fire power to be blasting away is gonna make a huge difference for you. Either they're gonna take shots that would otherwise be targeting your Nobs or they're gonna be pummeling some tanks/troops.

If you wanted to make this even slightly more competitive I would suggest dropping 8 PKs total from the squads and add in 9 Lootahs and 11 Gretchin + Runtherder and fix the 20 point problem. This'll still let you kill 6+ Terminators a turn and your initial losses won't be as huge of a loss for you. PLUS the Lootahs can help you with those annoying aircraft (especially the AV 12 that your TL Dakkaguns can't touch), take out transports for your warbikes to charge the guys inside, and it can help soften up any MCs you don't want getting in there and cutting up your Nobz so they can focus on the squishier targets. Grots you just have in reserve and then plunk down on an objective, your enemy will probably be too distracted to really go after those lil' guys

You can definitely cut down on the PK's imo.

Agreed with above, your list is missing some lootas. I was a huge fan of running 2x5-10 man squads in 5th.

Basically I would downsize felix's list to 1500 pts.

You want the pole on a nob so your Warboss can split off and go all killy killy by himself.

How 'casual' is this? If the answer is 'super casual', I think you just need to modify your points costs (I'm coming up with 1410, felix has 1520, so someone (probably me) is doing math wrong! ). If you want your list to be at least TAC...Well, as is, your list would be pretty effective against other deathstar lists, but against MSU, hordes, or gunlines you're going to be in trouble.

I tend to agree with Felix that it would be good to have more boots on the ground (you are playing Orks after all). Even small squads of Grots would work for camping objectives. I would drop at least a few PKs from each Nob unit (say 3 from each) to be able to afford the grots. 150 points will, after all, buy a lot of Grots.

Thanks for the advice ol chums

I didnt realize that all the nobz have to take cybork bodys, Its kinda unclear the way they word it (gives me gas!). Anyways I'll definately take a couple PK's off the nobz in exchange for big choppas, and take some of those adorable little grots. I probably wont try to fit in any lootas cause i am trying to go more fluff and lootas will give me to good of a chance at winning, and what fun is that

Thanks!

Big Choppas are cool but just remember that having that extra attack from plain is awesome too! And don't feel bad about missing out on giving them all Cyborks, I just found out last month haha
