OK here we go,again! Natakue's corner is now releasing it's new unit cards! After testing and throwing ideas around this is what we came up with.

(picture of just one card)

These cards are very printer friendly and are spot on if you ask me. It took some time for me to get it right and to be honest I went through two other versions before I got these but, they are here. These cards are 100% free and can be downloaded right now at my new Infinity Card site. Right now all I have is one unit from each army minus Mercs and Tohaa and I plan to release one unit from each army at least once a month for sure but, I hope to do more if time permits.

Each unit will be released with cards for units with miniatures and once a new figures come out then more cards will be added for that unit. Meaning that if there is no miniature for that unit with that configuration then there will be no card till one is made. Each unit will be released on one or more sheets that contain up to 6 cards per sheet that can be cut out and used. I recommend that these cards be printed out on 110lbs card stock and printed at a kinkos or laser printer for best results. Now these cards can be printed on normal paper and an inkjet printer since they are printer friendly but they will not look the best. Just being honest here... Also I recommend that the cards be placed in some sort of protector like a baseball card protector. This will help make the card last longer.
As for the sheets, on the site you can download the sheets you want or download them all as I release them in one big .zip file.

You can follow the site, my blog, or my YouTube channel for more info on these cards as i release them.

Thanks and please let me know what you think.

Till Next Time...

Very, very cool... i could quibble about the text justification in the weapon stats making the columns not line up... but really, it's just too cool to care about that

Yeah that bugged me to...and I went back to see what I could do. In the next batch that will be resolved and I'm learning more about Photoshop. Thanks for the comment!

OK well it's time for release #2! On this release I changed the way the weapons were displayed a little via the feedback I was given on the first release. This I hope will ease all the confusion with ranges. I will go back and update the others later.

Units in this batch are:
Garuda Tacbot
1er Regiment de Para-Commando
Iskaller
Ghulam
Securitate
Karmau
Zhanshi

Next batch I'm thinking about doing some T.A.G.s what do you think?

As always you can get the sheets for the cards here:
http://gundamb.wix.com/nc-infinityunitcards

Also I had a few suggestions to do sectorial army decks...and I think I will but it's going to take time. Let me know what you think!

Here are a few previews:

Here is a video of all the releases:

It's great that you are tying pictures of the models to the rules - I think that is one of the biggest problems sometimes, knowing which models are actually which

Thanks! That is one of the main things that I wanted to do.

And a TAG special will be next.

Not sure if I should do this. I now have had two requests to release the master template for the cards so other can work on them. Any thoughts on this?

I'm just not sure. My time is limited and yes I know that it will take a long time to get them all done but I do not want any one on the net to take credit for what I have done but, that has not stopped the users from asking. I understand that in order to get this done I will need help but who out there will help? There is no money involved in this and it will help the gamer's out by having them so should I be worried? These are the questions I'm asking my self when it comes to the cards. Do you have any ideas?

The problem is that unless they are comprehensive (as in, I can have at least half of my squad covered by them) then it is hard to justify using them. Having a snazzy card for only one of my models, unless it is a TAG or other special, isn't much use when I have eight other models not covered by it. I mean, I want to have a consistent scheme that I follow, rather than two different methods. So I'd recommend trying to get a small team on board, and perhaps trying to do it with factional releases - each month pick a faction and release a bunch of cards for them. Does that make sense?

That makes perfect sense and I would love to do that. I just don't know of any one that would be willing to help. If you know of any one let me know please and I will see what I can come up with.

How does the process work? It sounds like you do complicated stuff with photoshop, which might rule a lot of chaps out.

Most of the work has already been done. I have a master template that all I do is input the data, change the unit picture and add weapons. The hard part is the Unit picture and the weapons. Since I changed up how I display the weapons I have to make a template for all the weapons and I have not had the time to get them all 100% done so I have been doing them as I go. But I could modify the whole template so that it would not be a huge problem with the weapons.

Well maybe one way to do it then is have one or more people input the stats and select the weapon for each card, send it to you, and then you double check everything and add the unit picture. That way each card should be correct, and you can production line them. I wouldn't mind helping out, provided that it didn't take too much time out and didn't require specialist software.

I use Photoshop because that's what I know but I think there is other software out there that will work. Send me a PM and we can talk more about it.

Ok an update one the cards. I found one person that will help and hes going to start off working on PanO and do the whole army. Still looking for more to help out with other armies so we can get these cards out as fast as we can. I'm going to be focusing on Nomads so we need other to focus on the other armies. I will provide the template and all you will have to do is add the data. If your interested please let me know.

What design program are you using? I have Adobe CS4. I'm a bit busy but I can try to do a card or two.

I use Adobe CS6 to make the cards. Im looking for some one who would be willing to take on the task of an army. You interested in that?

I'm committed to working on my decal sheets right now but I might be after that. What are you using for the layout?

I made some templates in CS6. They took some time but they make it easy to create the cards. The main problem is getting all the weapons on the template...I still do not have them all.

I have CS5 - and its legal too, for that matter, since I work in multimedia. I'm planning to upgrade to CS6 soon.

I'd be happy to chip in - I play Combined Army, so how about I take care of them?

...of course I'm being nakedly self-serving... whats your point?

GREAT! Send me a PM and we can work together!

I have no experience with Adobe but if I were to get a copy could you maybe send the templates to get started? Like I said I'm new to the game with my Wife and would benefit greatly from these.

OK I know its been a wile since I released a new set of cards. I promise that they are coming but it have been real busy for me the last few weeks. But it has got me to thinking. I have enlisted two guys that are helping create the cards for PanO and CA but what if I made a super template that would allow you to make your own card when you wanted it. Would you go for that?

I'm willing to help in whatever way I can. I happen to have a lot of free time on my hands now and spend a good deal of time staring at my macbook aimlessly anyway. I can probably download whatever software you suggest (I already have Gimp if that will work.) and I'll give it a go if you explain what it is I should be doing exactly. I'm no pro at this sort of thing but I'm a quick learner and enthusiastic so that should make up for most of my lack of knowledge. PM me if you can use me. I'll work on whatever army you want, I'm not picky.

Thanks! I will contact you ASAP on this. Right now I think Im going to release the first version of the templat next week. This version will not have all the weapons on it but it will have what you need.

Im finding that making the cards is very time consuming but if I make a template and let the end user use it the way they want then it should be good. The only main problem is the pictures. So I have decided to make the templates without the picture and the end users can add what ever picture they want.

OK so we have made progress on the Combined Army Cards. Thanks to Micky the army is done but I have to format them into sheets. I'm hoping to have the done very soon no later than next week. I want to thank Micky for all the great work he has done and I hope we can get more armies out asap.

And for the blank template it's still a WIP. This thing is huge and I have been working on it when I have free time. It's coming!

OK the sheets for the Combined Army are all done. Took me a bit to get them done because my daughter got sick but, hey they are done now! This release is the whole Combined Army. Now same rules apply that I stated before. If the unit does not have a figure we did not make the card. Once the unit gets a figure then we will make the card. Again this is the WHOLE ARMY in a zip file.

You can find it here: http://natakuescorner.blogspot.com/2013/01/new-release-on-nciucs-whole-combined.html

Here is what they look like:

I hope you enjoy and I will try and have the next batch out soon. Oh and I'm still looking for help with these so PM me if you are interested.

If your talking about the Raicho I thought so to. But when I checked the list you spelled it the same way it is on the list. So I left it.

Well some stuff has come up and I will no longer be able to support these cards. If any one out there is willing to take over I will be more than happy to supply the template that I have so they can work on these. Please contact me via PM if you are interested.

For those that don't know right now some stuff has come up what will not allow me to continue doing these cards but, that does not mean I want to them to disappear with out a trace. So Im going to release my template so every one can create there own. the template is not 100% done but all that really need to be done to finish it is to create all the weapons. Every thing is already there ready to be used...unit logos, army logos and Holos. So here is the link to download the template.

You can download the template at http://natakuescorner.blogspot.com/ Just look on the right had side of the page.

I hope to start back up with these cards some day but for now I cant. So please create all you want and let me know what you did with it...I would love to see them.
