What about the girls from Birds of Prey (Huntress, Black Canary, etc; and Wildcat too)? Those would fit the feel/environment of the game I fell, though if they are staying true to the video game I guess they won't show.

I don't like Deapool as a character, but that is a nice representation of him.

That Venom though, so wrong, and not in a good way. He need to be elongated in some way or have tendrils or something. And the eyes. Just not working for me.

No rules for the Marvel line yet. And, so far, many of the models made are too powerful to fit into the Batman game, where an assault rifle is pretty much the height of technology and power.

Batpod is pretty awesome too, since you get Rises version on foot too (though its two different purchases for you to have he models). It's also the fastest model in the game and has one of the most devistating weapons in its autocannon.

Of course, Adam West version is, well, Adam West. And has the advantage of being the lowest cost in reputation. So, you could now fit Batman, Batgirl, Nightwing, and Robin in a 300 point team (I think).

Personally, I think the Batclaw is so good it should be a reason to choose a model.

New models keep coming. This now allows for more themes from the heroes, specifically the Birds of Prey (yay!) and Green Arrow crews (including Arrow variations).

I have a large portion of the Batman line, though oddly only a single Batman. I think their casing is very good. Mold lines are minimal. Flash is rare. Connecting parts, like arms, sometimes are difficult to clean up and make fit properly.

My biggest issue is scale on a single model. Arms often look shorter than they should be. However, scale of weapons is oddly accurate, which sometimes looks odd since we collectors are so used to oversized weapons. Look at Gordon's pistol to see what I mean.

Please, yes, a unified card look in the format of the police/Arkham files. The digital files are pretty horrendous. Considering all the new models are coming out with the police file version, I think that should be the expectation now.

The problem with a Batman box is that he basically does not have minions. SWAT/police are the only law minions, and they really fit better with Gordon. Now, a Batman Family box (Batman, Robin, Nightwing) in the style of the Gotham Sirens (Catwoman, Ivy, Harley) or Birds of Prey (Canary, Huntress, Batgirl) would be welcome and likely.

Man Bat, Scarface, Wildcat, (and of course Calendar Man!)---lots of good potential models to be made.

I like the game. Nice low model count. Always mission based. Very thematic/dramatic.
And a nice feature has to do with terrain. While a good amount of terrain is always nice, BTG can be played with almost no terrain. Given that its always considered DARK, and that limits sight, you can play with only a few real obstructions. I plan on using the recent Big Box KS graveyard to host a lot of BTG games.

Batman Miniature Game hardcover book up for pre-sale at Knight Models. Looks like two versions, one of which is limited edition. Each version comes with an exclusive miniature.

Book looks good. Already leaked new gangs in their released pictures (Mad Hatter, Scarecrow, Mafia, Green Arrow, Mr. Freeze, and Court of Owls). Lots of color and images. Better translations.

I'm REALLY not a fan of two different exclusive minis for the two different books. Have to see how that plays out.

First, the pre-orders just started today. I can imagine Knight Models wanting a little time to get the pre-orders direct before offering the sales to storefronts.

Second, the Joker pre-order is going to be Knight Models only. Storefronts will not be getting the limited run (500) Joker book.

Finally, US distributers (like Warstore and MiniatureMarket) are 2 months behind on Knight Model releases. They are just now getting Huntress and Black Mask, who both released in Europe in November.

I will look into the UK storefront and see if anything shows up for pre-orders though.

Honestly, I worry that no US distributers will have a pre-order option. It has not seemed to pick up as a game in the US yet.

That seems to be a style with the Knight Models in this line. The characters are really thin. I think of it as 35mm true scale, where the models are not very comically sculpted. It definitely shows in the legs and weapons, for instance.

Personally, I like the style for this game. But, I see the lack of pecks as being a bit off on this model.

New page leaked from the upcoming (this month!) Batman Miniature Games rulebook. Preorders are still going until Feb 15.

Pre-Orders run until the 15th, yes. I don't know the ship date. I will ask around and see.

Terrain is not really that tricky. There are tons of 28-35mm MDF or plasticard stuff out there. Right now I'm seeing a lot of Sarissa stuff (http://www.sarissa-precision.com) being used. There's a lot of discussion about using 0-scale model train pieces. Knight Models themselves make scatter terrain (and might be doing some big pieces soon). Eagle Moss Batmobiles are a subscription service that offers a variety of Batmobiles in the right scale.
