So there is a tournament coming up in my area and it's 1500 points. Now, I can just sign up with my Space wolves army, but I would love to change it up and it so happened that my friend gave me a bunch of his necrons to use while he is away and travelling. However, as i have never played Necrons I am quite lost. I have a list of models i have and i am wondering if anyone can help me make up a semi-competitive army list. as I would need to give the army back to him i don't want to buy any new models so I have to work with what i have

I feel like it's very little and I would almost have to bring everything, but I am just looking for an opinion from someone that plays necrons, I asked my friend but he is not familiar with 6th ed rules and on top of that he hasn't played for quite some time

both lords with only res orbs, one in each warrior squad.

That puts you at 1498.

Wraiths....buy lots of wraiths. Look just ok on paper but play EXTREMELY well. Ive made a believer out of quite a few necron players in our circuit. I prefer the traveler over imotek. and the other just a normal overlord and or oberyon.

He already said it's his buddies army, I doubt he'll be buying models for an army that isn't his.
