Need some tips/advice. I dropped two Stormtalons to pick up another Tactical Squad + Landspeeder. The Stormtalons hadn't paid off for me much, other than some extra Anti-Air. However, the most air I come across at the place I play is the occasional Vendetta and maybe a Doom Scythe or two.

Besides, using a Imperial Armour unit is kind of cheesey. Using both IA and 2 Fliers? Don't want to be a jerk now.

I don't have any predators, or I'd think about doing AC/2LC Preds instead of the Vindicators. But, there's also a special place in my heart for Vindis, so...

I run a vaguely similar list. I would separate the speeders into three single units and swap the contemptor for some termies or sternguard.

The Contemptor is the only Anti-Air in my list. It also reams light tanks and pretty much anything it shoots at.

Having Single units of speeders is bad, bad, bad, when you get the Fast Attack is scoring / worth a VP. Atleast in my opinion. One or two stray missiles and they are vaporized and give up a VP.

Actually, with the Vindicators, I was thinking of changing the Lascannons to Plasma Cannons. That'd give me some more plasma fire against fun things like Terminators.

However, with the new Chaos Book out and all of their fun things like Mauler/Forge Fiends, I don't know...

Then again, I have 8 Missile Launcher and 12 Assault cannon shots on top of the Vindicators, and if I have to, Plasma can bring them down a HP on a 5 or pen them on a 6. Hmm.
