Hey I was just thinking of a fun list to play and id really like to cone up with a 1500 and a 2000 list with 2 and 3 full squads of nurgle bikers respectively. Im not sure whether to have nurgle sorcs riding with them or nurgle lords or daemon princes etc. Im basically asking what hqs should i use and how should i run them in this list? Id like to make the hqs competitive since a max biker army is already gonna be kinda soft and i dont want to get blown off the table too easily

I am so mad I sold all my nurgle bikes in 5th because it looks like I am repurchasing them all over again.

I do not have the dex yet so i cannot speak to HQ builds but I will be watching this thread.

cheers

I have a love /hate relationship with anything green.

nurgle lord on bike with black mace and the other stuff are pretty good.

you will need 2-3 plague marines to hold objectives and maybe 3x5 havocs
4x autocannon for long ranged shooting.

So at 1500 you think i should stick with one lord with a bike squad and the other squad on its own with some plague squads and havocs for backfield support?

Personally I like unmarked sorcerers, who can get LV 3 cheap and roll for Invisibility(telepathy) or Endurance (biomancy), to make the bikes more durable.

You could also run Typhus to get access to plague zombies for scoring.

I do think 3 Squads of Bikes may be too much as the support will be fairly minimal.

Well at 1500 id have 2 squads and 3 at 2k. I figure at 2k id still have about 900 points of models sitting in my backfield while i throw 31 t6 bikersdwn their throat

In no way would taking a ton of bikers be "soft." The only thing harming you with all of those Bikes is that in 4 of 6 Missions, they won't score or help you win (other than killing gak and never dying!).

With that said, throw a Lord on a Bike and put him in a squad. Scoring should be 5 man Plague Marine squads with Plasma x 2. Put dual melta in 2 of the 3 bike squads, dual flamer in the other. Put a burning brand on the Lord, along with a Power Axe or Sword. Figure that those units will be hard to kill, make sure to give a fist to the champion so they can instant gib characters if needed..,

Thx for the suggestion. What would you recommend for heavy support options?
