Is there a question in there, somewhere, or are you just looking for general comments and criticism? Either way, posting the images directly in the thread usually helps garner more responses.

The Dreadnote wrote:But the Emperor already has a shrine, in the form of your local Games Workshop. You honour him by sacrificing your money to the plastic effigies of his warriors. In time, your devotion will be rewarded with the gift of having even more effigies to worship.

Only pics I can see in your galary Slaanesh Termie ?! Are pretty rough to be harsh mate :-/
If your after a "wash" to brighten a figure your really in the wrong ball park tbh, you are looking more for a highlight ? Tbh black washing can make something look worn but the pics need to be better lit as it currrently just looks messy :(

This is an example ( from my gallery ) of using a black wash to make something look dirty. I am by no means a good painter though.

As for Emperors children, I am not really a fan of the Changeling Pink , I do however use it on my Emperors children as a base colour to brighten up the purple / red I use for the top coat. I also black wash areas to make them look more "authentic" or as if they have seen combat.

Although I will conceed that the picture is not the best

I guess what im saying is, dont over do black washes ( although i am guilty) there is a thin line between "worn" and "messy paint job"
Also try to take your own pictures in a better light ( and post links cos us intrawhebzors are a lazy bunch and dont really want to click all the way to your gallary !)

That wasn't a question, it was a barely-structured stream of thought that ostensibly resembled English.

To try and translate, I think what you're trying to say is that you used a black wash over bright colors and now they don't look as good. The answer is not to use black wash over bright colors. There are a bevvy of wash colors out there that would suit any given lighter color, like the blue wash for blues, red wash for reds, pinks and oranges, and so on. So yeah, just choose your washes for the colors they're going over.
