Ive only recently got back into the game, so im fairly fresh to the hobby side of the game right now. I plan on throwing away all my old minis, because after having a rummage through them, ive discovered that nothing in there is salvagable barring 1-2 models. Now, all of the foam inserts for my cases are ruined, having chunks cut out of them for slightly bulkier models. I dont want to have to buy new cases, but is there anywhere in the uk that sells just the foam inserts? I will need generic ones for both vendettas and guardsmen that will fit a large gw case.

I tried looking on battlefoam, but got a little confused by the various sizes they sell.

Which cases do you have? The standard GW ones?

KR Multicase make foam trays in sizes that fir GW cases. I think Feldherr might as well, but not sure.

I have the little black one that hold 3 inserts, and the big green one that was released around the same time as Cities of Death that had 3 infantry trays and a tank insert. Thanks for the link, I'll take a look at it

Sorry to re-quote, but will all of these definitely fit in a GW case? Not too small, or too big or anything?

If you take the GW size trays option you get the ones that will fit in the gw case perfectly.
I can definitly recommend KR, i use their boxes for storing a lot of models and one of the big aluminium suitcases to transport them, easy to switch stuff around and everything's well protected.

I just checked and the UK site for GW really doesn't have foam inserts listed as a separate item.

I'd give them a call and see. Part code is 99419999015 if you need it.

I got mine from TheWarStore, they are Army Transporter ones and I have been nothing but happy.

You can either but the trays as a set or individually.

2nd Starweavers comments. They have trays that are VERY specific as well... so depending on what you need it could vary.

If you were in the US, Battlefoam would be another option (or do they have cheap shipping to the UK)

I would not recommend KR, the customer service is terrible.

What sort of delivery times do people in the UK normally see from KR? If I place my order on a saturday, would I have it by the wednesday/thursday of the next week?

Mine was about that, yeah.
Order at the weekend, delivery before the end of the week.
That was a single foam tray, though.
I don't think the case took any longer, though.
Depends on the amount of custom trays, maybe.

following on from this, does anyone know if you can get non-standard tray sizes? Like one that would fit in a shoe box instead of a GW carry case?

get any army carrying case that does not carry the Citadel, Games Workshop, or god forbid, if it does exist, the Forge World Logo. Absolutely overpriced. Get any Army Transport, or a KR.....

go in to your FLGS, they should have an army transport system handy, along with the extra foam to fill it with.

Its not getting the cases thats the issue. Its getting foam to replace that which I butchered to fit non standard minis.

As far as the minis are concerned, my younger self got bored with them and cut the them ribbons
