OK Ive been doing chaos space marines and had 3 units i could use in daemons the last few years and got annoyed about people saying 'gray knights are uncorrupted and will never be corrupted' so i wanted to buy gray knights and corrupt them to extrema measures i wanted to corrupt the most holy-est in their army i want imperial players to hate me even more i want to crush them with their most beloved and holy army i want to rip hope from their souls

i don't know what to get but i want mass halberds i think they are awesome (i play against tyranids and dark elder a lot and would like the edge in combat against space marines) i would like to add the most holy things into this army from the gray knights codex to mock the imperial filth but as i have only 2 gray knight terminator models with halberds and not even a codex I'm stuck with what to choose so please could you help me fill in the blank lines to my army list for 1000pts

if you want to go mass halberds, then the way to go is with Crowe and Purifiers.


I can not really tell you all of the point values as it is against the rules of this forum, but there are a number of other Crowe Purifier lists around, and it should not be too hard to find one.

As above, purifiers with halberds are better than strikes with halberds

Also its 'grey' not 'gray'.

yeah, just gotta say melee weapons (other than hammer on justicar) on strike squads is a horrible idea, purifiers all the way

i didn't want to really do purifiers because so many people do it at my local hobby store and i didn't want terminators because i borrowed my mates terminators and got heavily beaten by turn 2 and purifiers are too much points in my opinion for what i want

Actually, Purifier with halberd only costs single point more than Strike with halberd. You have pay Crowe tax or have Grand Master in your army to make them scoring.


Anyway, Halberds on strikes (except perhaps for Justicar) are huge waste of points. With single attack, Strikes just are not CC squad.

I prefer terminators with halberds: it's free and über devastating.
