Hey guys just want to know what you all think of my Nurgle themed CSM list. C&C welcome!

Comes out to 1642.

First of all, I think you will have a hard time finding opponents for 1642 pts.

Secondly, for 1500+points the plague marines will not cut it for objective holding.

1750 point games won't though and that is just 1 helbrute away. Also, rather than just say my plague marines won't cut it. Explain how i could better fix the list to make it more competitive.

Still looking for some help with this thread. I am really guessing when it comes to the new dex (as a lot of us are) so some constructive feedback would be greatly appreciated. I want to saturate the battlefield with armor so the hull points really wont come into a factor. I dont like foot slogging lists with all the ap1/2 out there in the heavy support department in many armies.

I'll help. I would agree modifying it to 1500 or 1750 just so we know and you know. Personally I would drop all of the IODs, it is pretty worthless. That would save you another rhino. You lack any long range shooting, it will help you affect the battlefield earlier. Havocs, Oblits, even an autocannon on the terminators. Let me know how the maulers turn out, I have no experience but a lot of curiosity. Get a dirge caster for at least one of the rhinos. Some games you will want to charge and things you want to charge will out shoot you. I think you over equipped your terminators, but that is preference (are you planning a DS?).

The PMs will be fine for objective holding. I've been playing PMs for years and they can really sit on an objective. It can be a real pain to fully sweep a PM squad without standing on top of them. Get a squad with plasma and let them be the sitting squad. That way they can continue to threaten out to 24'' while holding an objective. I personally have all plasma. Oh, and get something for the champ, either combi-_______/Powerfist or bolt pistol/power weapon/melta bombs. He is gonna have to challenge, it may as well help.

Thank you for the feedback. I am just feeling around with this new dex and have zero expectations for any unit . Yes, the terms were going to ds and with all power weapons dropping to ap3 for the most part, I figured o load em out and make my opponent either ignore them and die or waste a good turn possibly 2 of shooting at em.

Man, my experience with PMs in 6th is all positive.

I've never held objectives that tenaciously, except for when I played Deathwing.

One thing I might suggest is a squad or two of Plague Zombies, they are fantastic at holding objectives, and a squad of 35 can still lay down 70 attacks on anyone who dares get close enough. (I've run a Sorcerer leading my Zombies, and he smooshes nastier stuff and lets the Zombies mop up.)

Nice. I'll have to get some imperial guard soldiers and zombify them up

One thing I've found is that Death Guard lists often lack long range firepower. You might want to look into some oblits, or maybe land raider? My last tourney went really well with a LR in the list.

Landraiders are a bit pricey atm. Maybe ill grab one if i find one for cheap on ebay or something. How do you deal with flier lists? It seems like we would struggle unless we brought a lot of havocs with missile launchers or autocannons.
