Subject: Colossus or GriffinS ?

Yes, the capital S is on purpose.
So to go along with 2 naked LRBT's? 1 Colossus or 2 x Griffins?
The colossus is awesome and crazy powerful. It eats MEQ's for breakfast and can easily be given a cover save with an AEGIS. The range is not the best but decent.
2 X Griffins are twice as hard to kill (because there are two of them..get it?), less powerful, better range and indirect. More templates means better against hordes but not as good versus MEQs.
Also, as a secondary question...camo netting for tanks sitting behind an AEGIS?
Let me know your thoughts,

I'd go with one of each in a battery, with the Griffon out front, or Colossi and a Griffon, with the Griffon out front.
But if you have to choose, I'd take the Griffon pair over the Colossus, since you've got LRBTs to punish MEQ. What the Griffon gives you is accuracy of multiple ordnance templates to get more hits.

Thanks for the response...
What about camo nets? How is anyone feeling about them?

Griffons and/or Collossus on Skyshield w/ Camo Nets.
Skyshield grants cover saves from footsloggers, fortification = 3+, camo netting = 2+. Always has 4+ invlun and most likely direct line of site to reduce scattering. Or park in in the back with LR in front of them to truly obscure them.
Enjoy that slice of heaven

I'd skip the camo nets, since I tend to shuffle my Griffons around, or keep them entirely out of Line of Sight. The only things I've gotten use out of camo nets for have been autocannon scout sentinels, since they can walk on into cover, engage, maintain position for long periods of time.

Griffons. So what if you don't have AP3, the volume of hits you'll be getting will make up for it, and do much better damage against anything that doesn't have 3+ armor saves.
