Dont get me wrong i like the space marine libby in termi armor, but i am wanting to kinda scratch build one, granted i dont have all the bits to make one. So i am looking for some tips and ideas for were to get the pieces and how to make my own.

well, the staff can be made from just about any combination of bits, I have even seen people using iron halos as a topper, the robe can be made with sculpting putty if you are any good with it (I have not mastered it yet). The big thing to me is the psychic hood and the book stuff. once again the psychic hood could probably be sculpted and added to the termie armor, but the book(s) are going to be a finecast only and therefore you probably wont find them through any Bits websites. You could probably modify a Grey Knight Paladin "Standard" into something appropriate, and should be able to get them through most of the bits stores.

You may be better off to pick up the finecast model and make changes where you don't like stuff rather than scratch building one. However I could be just a noob in the conversion world and someone more experienced might shut down everything I just said.

you'll also have to have books and also the skulls with horns and lightining to contend with. The grey knight kits have a plastic librarian torso for powered armour, you could use the top part for the basis of the helm.

i have some bits to kinda make it gk but i am looking at maybe converting one of these guys to a gk termi libby..

You might want to look at online bits sellers and see if you can use Grey Knight bits as the basis of your Librarian. Here is a generic Librarian I did for my chapter:



Obviously I did this using power armor, but you should be able to do something similar using the GK and regular terminator armor bits.
