I was reading my DA codex recently and noticed that the DA lightning claws state that they ignore armour saves and not that they are power weapons it is not in the FAQ's so should i use the lightning claw rules from the codex or from the rulebook? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Codex entry will overrule the BRB, unless otherwise stated in a FAQ or Errata. Though I can't confirm with the DA Codex, yes, lightning claws completely ignore armor saves. They may, of course, still take invulnerable saves.

Didn't see anything in their FAQ, not sure what the entry in the codex says either though.

Second page of the FAQ, right under the Amendments heading:
"You’ll also find that some of the weapons in this Codex are written out longhand, rather than using the weapon profile format in the Warhammer
40,000 rulebook. Don’t worry – these are functionally identical, unless noted otherwise in this document."

Figures I was looking for Lightning claws. So in this case Lightning claws use the BGB I suppose.

Also note that all the codexes have this line in them.

Oh ok cheers guys i was like jdjames when i was looking through the FAQ i was looking for lightning claws specifically.
