Title sums it up: I am converting a Chaos Space Marines Lord riding on a Juggernaut, but am unsure what base to put him on. I don't have the new CSM codex yet, so I'm not sure that mounting a Lord on a Juggernaut is even an available option (though I *think* it is), but if he's on one, should he be on a 40mm, 60mm, or some other kind of base?

Answers, suggestions, etc. would be really appreciated! Thanks Dakkanauts!

The one the bloodletter juggernaughts use, 60mm.

Also to reaffirm your suspicion: Yes a chaos lord of Khorne may be mounted upon a Juggernaut.

I am actually planning a similar conversion from the Warhammer Khorne Lord on Juggernaut kit.

Official juggers use Dreadnought sized bases (60mm), so I'd use that Anything smaller will probably be a tight fit or unusable.

UPDATE - additional question!

I am converting a Daemon Prince out of some unusual bits and bobs, but wasn't sure if he should be on a 60mm base too. I believe that's the base size that comes with the GW model, but wasn't sure what base other people who have converted their own use.

Thanks again folks!

Well if you're converting a DP then it depends on how much you mean by /conversion/. If it's just the basic GW model then 60mm. But if the model is larger then go larger.
