Looks pretty good but I think you should apply a dab of brown wash to each of the studs/bolts to weather them slightly - they are far too shiny at the moment.

daaaaymn thats nice. Im about to build/paint one myself, though im going with the Ironbelcher drybrushing idea for "chipped paint" rather than rust.

How did you do your rust anyway? Is it just a sponge dabble?

Looks like a simple paint scheme....but definitely has that gritty orc feel to it. Painting all the rivets to make them pop a little must have been loads of fun ....Nicely done!

Thank yo all. I did the rust scheme up by just working up the levels of color I wanted them at. Took a long time. The rivets helped make it pop. I say the theme is the orks actually scavenged some new stuff.

I love the wagon! I have 2 wagons I am working on right now and I would really love to know how you pulled that rust effect off.

It's a very nice paint job.
I think you could still do some detailing. Even a rusty heap, if it's in use, will have a lot of wear and tear on the most travled and heavily used portions of the surface. Anywhere the crew would walk/climb would be rubbed bare of rust and the metal would gleam dully. Additionally, you could add battle damage in a similar way, scratches, impact damage, and the like would have burned marks and dull and or bright metal showing. I think if you added that extra touch, it would really bring the wagon to life.

Im always working on adding detail. I judt dont always take more pics of it in progress LOL. But the ork on the side is a grot. I just keep layering up the red until its rusty looking. and i dont do so well with battle damage. one more thing I have to practice at.

Thank you all for your comments Happy Veterans Day
