Here is the quote in the wargear entry for Chaos Artifacts:
"A model can replace one weapon with one of the following"
My questions is since the Chaos Lord has two weapons base can he replace both for say the Axe of Blind Fury and the Burning Brand?

I'd actually see that as a no.
As with Melee weapons he's allowed to take 2 based on wording.
With ranged weapons it appears to be limited to 1, same as artefacts.
That's how I read it at least

Condescending tones aren't appreciated. I was confirming my thoughts as AB has it being possible which I didn't think was correct.

He has 1 CCW in his base profile. Say he trades away that weapon for a Burning Brand of Skalathrax. Can he defend himself in close combat? Does another CCW automagically appear?
